BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Making a booking
By making a booking you are confirming that you are authorised to do so on behalf of all persons named in the booking and you are acknowledging that all members of your party agree to be bound by these Booking Terms & Conditions.

Upon completion of your booking you will receive a confirmation email. You should carefully check the details of your confirmation as soon as you receive it. You must contact us immediately if any of the details are incorrect or incomplete.

  1. Paying for your booking
Credit or debit card details will be required when you make your booking. If the date of your stay is 14 days or less from the time of your booking, your card will be charged in full at the time of making your booking.

If your stay is more than 14 days from the date of the booking then a pre-authorisation will be processed for the full value of your booking but your card will not actually be charged until 14 days prior to your stay.  Should your card be declined then a member of our team will contact you to collect alternative payment details. If we cannot contact you then your reservation will be cancelled.

Upon check-in you will be asked to present the card used to make the original booking to ensure we have the correct guest details.  At check-out you will receive a bill for your stay which will include the room costs plus any items you have charged to your room during your stay less the value of the payment made prior to arrival. You will then be asked to pay your bill in full at this time.

Please note that should any guests fail to settle their bill at the time of check-out, we reserve the right to apply the appropriate charges using the initial pre-authorisation approval.

Any card details provided at the time of booking will be encrypted and held by our secured payments partner (Secure Trading Ltd) for a maximum of 30 days from the date of check-out.

  1. Amendments to your booking
Should you need to amend your booking, please contact us via telephone or email reservations@thefleeceyorkshire.co.uk . Amendments are subject to availability and those made within the cancellation period (see below) may be subject to cancellation charges.
  2. Cancellation & refunds
In order to avoid cancellation and/or non-arrival charges, guests must advise us of the cancellation no later than 14 days prior to 2 pm on the scheduled day of arrival. Failure to cancel before this time will result in 100% of your original booking being charged to the credit or debit card used to make the original booking.

Please check at the time of booking if you are unsure of any of our cancellation procedures by calling us or emailing reservations@thefleeceyorkshire.co.uk

  1. Additional Requests
Please let us know if you have any additional or special requests for your stay with us. You can do this by entering details in the field provided on the booking form or by contacting us on [TEL] or emailing reservations@thefleeceyorkshire.co.uk.

Any additional requests should be made prior to your arrival at the hotel so that we have sufficient time to prepare them.

  1. Medical conditions
If you or any member of your party has a medical problem or disability which may affect your stay, please call us or email reservations@thefleeceyorkshire.co.uk to advise us so we can make provision for the particular needs of the person(s) concerned, or advise you if we are unable to make such provision. If details are not provided to us at the time of booking, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking should it be unable to make appropriate provision for a specific need or needs.
  2. Damage or loss to the Hotel
By making a booking you are accepting responsibility for any damage or loss to The Fleece Hotel caused by yourself or a member of your party.

Should any damage occur, we will advise you of it as soon as possible although this may be after you have checked-out of the hotel. We will seek to recover full payment for any such damage or loss and will advise you of this cost.  We reserve the right to charge any costs for damage or loss to the card used to make the booking.

  1. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay please speak to the General Manager or Assistant General Manager who will then make every effort to resolve your complaint.
