Every bedroom has been newly renovated to bring you all the comforts of home with big comfortable beds for those that need to sleep, to stylish desks for those who need to work. We also have two adjoining rooms for families. All our rooms are ensuite and include fantastic walk in showers or luxurious baths in our deluxe rooms. Join us at The Fleece and treat yourself to some real Yorkshire hospitality.
For centuries, stories have been shared in The Fleece Hotel. Stories between friends, families, from young to old, from walker to walker. We welcome you all, including your lovely dogs, to take a seat, take a drink or some food, and while away the day. We take particular pride in our coffee where we have teamed up with The Baytown Coffee Company in Whitby to bring you some of the tastiest blends we can find. So with everything from morning coffee to the best wines and cocktails in town, The Fleece is the place to meet, drink and be merry.
The Fleece Hotel has been a part of the town of Richmond for nearly 350 years. It’s part of the fabric of this wonderful town.
This famous establishment has now been brought back to its full glory and, at the same time, provide the town with a new destination to meet, eat, drink and sleep.
Our doors are now open to welcome you for a coffee with your family, a glass of wine or fine ales with friends or a meal packed full of Yorkshire goodness. If you’re a visitor to the town then why not spend the night with us in our boutique hotel only seconds away from the town square and moments away from the Yorkshire Dales.
We look forward to welcoming you and helping us create more ‘yarns’ for years to come.
